CPO becomes revenue for $VIAV before it reaches volume for the rest of the industry.
When we are talking about CPO, a problem with one optical channel can affect the yield and economics of the entire package, making earlier and more precise testing far more valuable than in
$COHR says NPO and CPO carry roughly the same content for it.
NPO moves the optical engine close to the chip.
CPO places it directly beside the chip inside the same package.
COHR says were good either way.
Because it can supply so much of the full optical path, from
$FN is building enough capacity to more than double the company.
Fabrinet exited Q4 at $1.316B in revenue, up 45% YoY.
Its current run rate is roughly $5.3B, while management now sees a path to $12.5B-$14B of annual revenue capacity over the coming years.
Data-center revenue
Well TD Cowen came through with validation $SMTC.
They reiterated Buy / Top Pick / $215 PT
FY28 EPS went from $3.36 → $5.65. +68%.
Consensus is still only $3.82.
They now model FY27 Data Center growth at +120%, up from ~85% before, and specifically called out:
50% 1.6T TIA
$SMTC Man, this was a REALLY strong print / guide.
$341.9M rev vs $328M guide, $0.71 EPS vs $0.61, and Data Center finally broke the $100M level I wanted.
But the forward commentary got me stoked.
DC went:
Q1: $71.6M
Q2: $100M
Q3 guide: ~$145M
That is +45% sequential next
Everyone is looking to $NVDA earnings...
But what about $SMTC tomorrow?
I am really excited about 2027, but there is enough to be excited about today too.
